True. We are not thought of as people, though. We are thought of as something that can do a job like a robot.

Hello and welcome. I was an instructor and bartender before my fibromyalgia and other issues stopped me from working. I understand how working people are assumed to have no issues.

I am also a registered nurse living with fibro and RA.

I have Fibromyalgia and I'm a Teaching Assistant who needs to be on my feet and ready to run if I get a runner 😥 I was full time but can only manage 3 days now 😢

Fibromyalgia is rubbish, lol. It affects so many of us and yet the help for this condition is extremely limited. I am not working presently. I am waiting to have more investigations, probably. I have been referred to the consultant immunologist.
