Chronic Headaches After Physical Therapy

I went to physical therapy for a hip problem they had me pull a 25 pounds neck started hurting and now I have chronic headaches on top of my head on my forehead behind my eyes in the lower scalp with neck pain to one doctor has said it is occipital neuralgia Which I gather is nerve damage I’m going to go to a neurologist in a couple days is that a good idea I’ve already went to an orthopedic doctor and I do not want to go under and have a needle put in my neck
