Chronic Hashimoto's Symptoms: Seeking Advice

Have had hashimotos since I was 10. 10 years later and I’m running into symptoms and just have no clue what’s going on. It’s been going on for 3 years. Ive went gluten free, dairy free and soy free (w/ the very rare mistake) Symptoms - * next to ones that bother most: Diarrhea* Fatigue Sinus infections* White tongue* Puffy face Brain fog Joint pain This has been going on for 3 years now. There’s days where I feel normal. Pink tongue, clear sinuses, high energy - but most days I don’t. things I’ve considered: SIBO, Candida, or just general leaky gut. I did a GI maps stool test gut dybosis came back at 9/10. Other areas is normal. I’m currently on a protocol for Candida (self-diagnosed) but this product called restore 3 looks promising for what I’m going through. Things that make my condition worse: Smoking - immediately get infection Alchohol, junk food, snacking, sugar/carbs -triggers white tongue What’s going on? I feel chronically unwell for the past few years. Before that I was fine. I got my tonsils and adenoids removed. Maybe that lowered my immunity? I’m not sure

I definitely sympathize with you as I feel the same exact way. My thyroid levels are always in normal range. Sometimes removing a lot of things from your diet isn’t necessarily the way to go unless you have a food allergy or food sensitivity. I tried going gluten and dairy free and I just didn’t see a difference to warrant the amount of change it presented in my daily life. I would seek out an endocrinologist. Because you have one autoimmune disease, you are more prone to developing others.
