Chronic Breathing Problems After Lifting Water Case

Hello, about 7 months ago I was getting a case of water out of my truck and when I picked up the case of water I felt kind of a sharp pain in my chest and about 10 minutes later it was difficult to take deep breath’s. Went to the ER and they found nothing wrong, They could not find no pulled muscles or anything. my breathing problems have been like this for 7 months now :/ I just wanna breathe normally again if someone can help me to understand what’s going on I would highly appreciate it

My husband had this pain a few months ago he's a train conductor and was leaning against something and pushing it with his hands. He went to the Doc and he told him it was basically like a bruise and would heal and it eventually did. He was pretty miserable for a few days.
