I've been struggling with mystery abdominal pain for over a year now. The first time I was seen for it was in urgent care on Dec. 10th 2020. I've had so many tests of every kind with no answers. I've been to the ER over and over again with this pain and the only thing they can do is give me morphine and send me home after a battery of normal test results Im at the end of my rope. I'm in pain every single day, almost all the time. this is on top of already having chronic migraine. I'm extremely depressed over this and with the mental health issues I have also it's really bad to be honest. thanks for listening. š

Been dealing with undiagnosed abdominal pain for 10 years. GI doctor, gynecologist, urogynecologist are good places to start.

I wonder if you need to be tested for c-diff?
Thanks! I'll mention it to the next gi I go to

I doubt it. Very few GI recommend it. I had to go to 3 before it was recommended and I have to do it at home and send out for results. This whole thing has been a nightmare so I'm hoping to get results! Just look it up, maybe it's worth taking it for your situation too.
Oooh I don't know if I've ever had that. I don't think so though
It's a test that checks for overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine.
What's a sibo test if you don't mind me asking?

I have been struggling with something similar. I have also noticed that more often than not my migraines are worse when my stomach and abdomen hurt. I haven't found a solution yet but I have a SIBO test coming up.

I have seen a GI specialist who found nothing. I'm currently being referred to a second GI for a second opinion

Iām with RJ, you need to see a GI specialist.

You need a referral to a GI. The hospital only looks at big picture things like a bleed. They do not treat any type of chronic pain; just acute. I highly recommend seeing a GI.
Holy heck I did not think this was actually going to find me someone who had literally the exact same issues! We need answers!
