Christianity and Anxiety: Finding Peace in the Midst of Mental Illness

Hey everyone! I'm just wondering if there are any other Christians on here... It's okay to not be perfect, whether you are a Christian or not. Anxiety is a real illness, and sometimes it takes more than believing in Jesus to treat the symptoms of this disease. The peace that comes from Christ is not necessarily the absence of anxiety. However, this peace is always there and will never leave because it's the knowledge that everything will work out for our good and His glory. We are at peace with God, no longer under his condemnation. This is our peace. We are safe and secure in his love forever. I know there will be people who disagree with me on this, and if you want to disagree, that's your choice. Please don't start arguments over it... If you disagree, just keep scrolling and move on, or message me directly. Also, for those of you who think that Christians are goody two shoes who have their lives all together, know that we are just as broken as you, but we have hope in Christ. We suffer just like everyone else, sometimes more, but that's not the end for us. We have joy because we know we're not alone, God is always with us, and everything will somehow work for our good. Sorry this was so long, I'm not entirely sure what made me feel I should share it.
