Does anyone get chest pain from their anxiety? Even when you don’t necessarily feel like your having anxiety? I have such a wide variety that I feel, it could be aching, zapping, prickly, etc and it’s not one specific location. I do have pots (but was told by my doctor the chest pain isn’t normal) I’ve had an echocardiogram done everything showed normal. I’m waiting on a ct currently!

Hello, fellow potsie here… POTS definitely causes chest pain… if your doctor told you it doesn’t I think you should look into seeing another doctor who’s knowledgeable with the condition. Hope this helps.

I often get those whenever I've gone through a serious trauma. My chest feels as if it has tightened to a point of causing me suffocation and I start to hyperventilate. That's when I end up getting a panic attack 😅 Have you tried doing acupressure to reduce your stress levels? I usually try it to help me with my Globus Sensation (some call it "Throat Anxiety", or so I heard), and I've also tried it for my regular anxiety as well. I use this app called Wysa from time to time too, which has been very helpful to me. Panic attacks are the worst, I'm so sorry you have to deal with them 😥 I hope that you can find a way to cope with your stress and find inner peace! You can do this, you're not alone! 😊❣️

Me!!!🙋🏻♀️ mine often feels as though it is actually in my heart, it can feel like stabbing pain, a bruise being pressed on, my most intense which has happened approx 4/5 times in the last 2 years is my heart feeling as though it is being ripped into two, stretched and totally ripped, it’s painful and it’s intense! GP tells me it is anxiety…. Another said yes anxiety, but also a trapped pinched muscle in the chest due to the anxiety and being so tense….. still struggle to believe them😩 for a good year I experienced this all day everyday, it was a super scary time for me. Would come on for a few seconds, stabbing me, then go away for 10 and be back, it was torture. Touch wood it has improved so much, but I do still get the pain, and now it seems more scary as it’s not as often I get it, so when it does come on I totally panic it is something serious 😞
What’s tachycardia?? Me too 1 to 5 or 6 minutes it last. Yes it’s in my arm and shoulder also and goes up to my cheek in my face
@Mamaqueen it’s a high heart! Anything above 100 resting!
@Teee what test have you had done so far for it?
Yes I too get chest pain and it’s when I’am relaxing and when Iam doing things too!! I feel like it’s not my anxiety. It hurts in my chest and leads to my neck and cheek. It’s scary and feels painful. I’ve had test done and they can’t find anything. I really wish I knew what it was because it’s terrible and so so scary!!
@Mamaqueen it’s scary cause sometimes I will get arm, shoulder pain etc :( I know it’s absolutely awful! I wish I knew to, and can never seem to get answers
@Teee me too!! I thought it was a mini heart attack it’s so scary. Plus it happens at random times. How long does it last for you?
