i’m changing a lot of the medications i’m taking (list at the end of this) and i’m worried about side effects/withdrawal effects and losing track of what medication is helping with different symptoms…i know there aren’t any bad interactions btw what i’m on but i’ve just never taken this many meds 😅 i know polypharmacy is old hat to lots of chronically ill people so i’d appreciate anyone’s reassurance or advice. i’m not super sensitive to medications like a lot of me/cfs people are but this is new for me. here’s the list: tapering off duloxetine (at 60mg now, going to 50mg next), starting bupropion (150 mg extended release) and gabapentin (100mg at first), slowly increasing low dose naltrexone (at 3mg now, going to 4.5mg in a month), and on week 2 of a 6 week course of famciclovir (500mg, antiviral for high epstein barr virus antibodies/maybe reactivation)
