Changed sense of smell after COVID recovery

I had covid a while ago, and with that came some changed in my senses. My food started tasting like dog poop and cigarette ashes. That when away about 2 months after beating covid. Now though, approximately 5 and a half months after beating it, I'm having some problems with my sense of smell. Now, every smell from bad breath the the smell of my stool smells almost like propane. I can't quite put a finger on it. Does anyone know anything about this?
