@faerywyrm mine are just focal seizures
for some reason seizures scare the heck out of people
I would decrease the dread of seizures. It's one of the factors pushing me into assisted living.
@faerywyrm okay
I wish that all the epilepsy medicines i had been on didn't cause things like short term memory loss, anger, depression and anxiety. It wasn't until i was off all of that medicine that i realized it was the pills causing those side effects .
@Taylor128 ok, I think some of mine do the same, but my mom doesn't want to switch meds because my medicine is working.

One user mentioned, "I’ve had epilepsy since I was 5. No one else in my family has ever had it. I also have high functioning autism. One thing that is common with having autism is having epilepsy." This suggests that if they could change something about their life or epilepsy, they might wish not to have epilepsy at all or not to have it associated with their autism.
