Just diagnosed with celiac, looking for advice

I was just diagnosed with celiac yesterday. It was my third endoscopy, after the first two came back inconclusive. I had a hard time yesterday because I had very little food in my house I could eat, but also wasn’t able to go to the store. I’ve joined some Facebook groups that give advice about celiac, but I was just wondering if there was anything you wish you knew when you were first diagnosed. I’m not new to confusing and overwhelming diagnoses, and always find that hearing from people who have the same thing is helpful! Thank you for any advice!

An important thing that wasn’t stressed enough when I was first diagnosed was how important it is to avoid cross contamination! It was one of the reasons I didn’t get better. Good luck!

thank you! My parents keep insisting a little gluten or something contaminated is okay, but everything I see says it isn’t!

Hi! I was diagnosed with coeliacs a few months ago and it's hard to get recipes and food that don't say "may contain traces of gluten" and stuff... DM me here or on discord ( kristy_777_jjj )
