take all your meds on schedule as best as you can to manage the symptoms like this medically. other than that, i like keeping a trusted person nearby/on the phone or facetime to help me feel safer

I bring my cane and/or cat with me, because in my mind, my cane will protect me and my cat inherently senses danger, so I'll be good, right? And sometimes I just leave all the lights on everywhere until someone else comes home and then *they* get to check the house for murderers and dead bodies. :)

It depends on what it is, but usually I debunk paranoid thoughts with logic because they works for me. I go through steps as to why the thought isn't feasible, while also making sure I'm in a safe space

Well, my current home is where all my trauma happened so I never really feel safe. Anyways most of the paranoia is someone is waiting for me around a corner to stab me or if I walk in this room this person I know will be inside dead or something. They're just very constant everywhere I go
