CBD is legal in all states as long as the THC is less than 0.3% I take a D8 smokable and have some edibles also. Just start low and increase until you get some relief.

CBD doesn't function correctly in the body without some amount of THC, usually a 10:1 ratio with CBD being the higher of the two. I personally use 1:1 products, which help me immensely. Some states no longer require a medical card. Check your local laws. 🤗
