Nervous about my first catheter ablation

Hi, I hope that I’m responding in time before your ablation. If not, I wish you a swift recovery & hope you are doing well! I had a cardiac ablation to control my AVNRT & Wolff Parkinson’s white syndrome. I was around 13 at the time & am 21 now. I do notice complications now more than ever before, such as arrhythmias returning & more palpitations since it has been so many years since I had it done. I didn’t feel any discomfort or pain afterwards — I was fully put under & they did a catheter cardiac ablation. I just had some tenderness where the catheters were inserted & nausea/vomiting coming off of the anesthetic. That’s normal for me though anytime I am put under. The next few years following it, I felt fantastic & everything was great. I think it’s just been too many years since I had it completed & I might need to get another one done soon.
