Career Change to Pediatric Psychiatry: Fiancé's Concerns
Looking to change from restaurant management to a position in pediatric psychiatry- fiancé is not on board and is convinced even with shift differentials that the $2 less an hour in base will sink us financially. Make your partner understand that this is your dream and that it won't sink you. They are being very selfish, I will not sugar coat it. You have to do what will make you happiest at the end of the day and in order to have a healthy relationship with them, they need to understand being on board with these things is extremely important to you.
