Looking for Advice on Cardiomyopathy Treatment

Hello I just joined this group, at this time I do have one question and that is how long have you been dealing with or getting treatment and what the treatment for Cardiomyopathy???

Mine is familial cardiomyopathy on my father’s side He died at 32 years old

I've had it for 20 years now. I take carvelidol and I changed my salt intake. I do my best to keep my sodium lower than 600 mg per food item. I'm also on Lisinopril er. Cardiologist says I've been doing good. Hope this helps.

I was on atenolol, from age 10 til a month ago, and found out i have ejection fraction, so they changed my meds. And i had a defibrillator put in at 16.

I got my first ICD/pacemaker put in just before I was 16 too! How many have you gone through at this point?

I have been feeling extremely tired so last month the cardiologist did an ultrasound of my heart and found out my ejection fiction was low. He added another blood pressure med. it’s making me worse.
