Every state has a law about how soon you can drive after having a seizure. So look that up. Also, my city has an “access” bus, and I’m sure others have it too. You just need a note from your doctor. Then this small bus can pick you up wherever and drop you off wherever, for the cost of a normal transit ticket. Look into that. That’s how I get to and from work every day.

I hope you're okay. Was your accident due to your epilepsy?

@Aikio okay. Then I think you should be in the clear as to whether or not they can tell you if you can drive because of your epilepsy. If it's unrelated they shouldn't be able to use it as an excuse

See your doctor and get recommended to a good neurologist as soon as possible

One person shared their experience of having a seizure while driving: "I had my grand mal seizure, there was no warning. I was behind the wheel of my vehicle, lucky I was stopped at a red light." It's important to consult with your neurologist and follow their recommendations regarding driving restrictions and medication management to ensure your safety and the safety of others on the road.
