just a couple days ago I was in a car accident that wasn't my fault. my neck was hurting so I went to the er. they gave me a better pain med. when I stopped taking my old pain med my anxiety and rapid thoughts stopped. I think my old pain med Mobic was causing bad anxiety and racing thoughts. I'm so thankful now that I have clarity and less pain.

I'm so sorry you were in an accident. But I've also discovered that certain pain meds seem to help my depression and anxiety. I take Norco for chronic pain and it seems to give me a little more energy as well as an improvement in my mood. It's interesting how meds meant for one thing can often improve another.
