I’m struggling with this so much I have to set multiple alarms every day. Also I found that I have to set an alarm for an hour or so before I have to be a week just to take my blood pressure medicine I’ll take it when the alarm goes off and then I’ll lay flat for like a half hour and then I’ll stay propped up for a half hour and then I’m able to actually get up
I have the same problem and have tried all of the above tips, but I still can't seem to get up when I need to. I'm going to get fired if I don't fix this. I also feel tired no matter how long I sleep. Of all of my health conditions, whatever is causing this is the absolute worst. I hope we both find out how to fix it!
I typically don’t use one everyday but if I have days where I have to be up at a certain time I usually set it for an hour early. For instance if I have to be up at 8 I will set it for 7… that way I can snooze for an hour lol and then by 8 I’m able to actually get up. Hope this helps 💜
Turn the alarm up all the way, set it as an annoying tone on the other side of the room so then you have to get up and shut it off. making ur bed after you get up is helpful too 💕
Maybe find some way to encourage yourself? Have some sort of food or activity waiting for you at the time you wake up so you're more encouraged to get out of bed? I have this problem too when I get into a low swing. I try to have something to do, or something to eat when I get up so I'm a little more motivated.
I know how this is. Mornings are horrible. I can also sleep 12+ hours and still be exhausted. My husband told me “that’s not right, you need to talk to the doctor about that”. Lol. I’ve been talking to doctors about it for decades.
I went to bed at 6pm last night. Woke at 7 am. Going to bed earlier doesn't help.
You have probably tried this, but I set like ten alarms to go off all fifteen minutes after the next. That way there's a consistent alarm noise for a very long time! I also tried going to bed earlier (think at like 7 or 8pm!) and that helped with getting up on time.
