Why am I awake??? Does anyone have any suggestions for sleeping through the night? I’ve been up the last few nights & sleeping during the day

Try increasing your activity level. I am a little weird because I have a double espresso and it helps me fall asleep.

Talk to your Dr about Propranalol. I take it for Tachycardia but it's helpful with my anxiety and lowering your heart rate may help you sleep better.

ASMR knocks me out, but if that doesn't work for you you can try: tart cherry juice, podcasts, rain sounds, weighted blanket, and at most a animal to sleep with.

I use a free podcast that is amazing. It is called Nothing much happens by Katherine Nicolai. It takes time to train your brain but it works if you are patience.

Since my stroke I've had awful problems with insomnia. Trazodone helps but sometimes I power through that. Medical cannabis has been helpful also but not always

Before I answer, have you been asleep and then woken up, or have you not even fallen asleep yet?

@Izzy94 it could just be a natural rhythm of yours. Maybe at that time you come out of a full sleep cycle and then for some reason your body wakes you up. You could use some time before trying to go back to sleep to read or meditate or do some yoga. Try not to stay up too long so you still get a good amount of sleep in, but use the time you're awake effectively instead of worrying about why you're awake, which will just keep you awake longer! It's easier said than done (I don't always flow my own advice) but it could very well help. It just depends on the causes and your needs.
