i am having a horrible time sleeping. i’ve had sleeping problems for years but i thought i finally got it under control. i’ve adjusted the noises and light to be just right and i started taking small doses of trazodone occasionally for difficult nights. for a month or so i was getting okay sleep. but now i can’t fall asleep even though i’m extremely tired. any advice? is there anything at all that you use that helps you sleep? at this point i don’t even care if i wake up refreshed, i just want to be able to fall asleep.

I don’t know if you e tried sleep music? Lots of great relaxing options in your tube. I also like the app better sleep because I can customize the sounds to be exactly the way I like. I’ve also found a cold compress on my forehead to be really nice. I like the gel bead ice packs (available on Amazon) because they aren’t hard, are have soft fabric on the side that goes in your head and are not too cold. .Trazodone didn’t do much for me (along with so many other antidepressant sleep meds) so I’m starting an actual sleep med next week.
