Calm Harm App Recommendation for Self Harm Coping

hello! I know quite a few people struggle with self harm, and it can be hard to find coping skills and distractions and I have a good app recommendation for whoever wants it. it's in the Google app store and I think in the Apple app Store too. it's called Calm Harm. you can set up a password in settings to kinda protect it a bit and you press ride the wave. after that you get I believe six options. release, comfort, distract, random, breathe and express yourself. now each one offers variety of different tools you can use to help with the urges( except breathe, breathe is just taking deep breaths, following the circle which gets bigger and smaller depending on if you need to inhale or exhal) hell, I even use it for other things like panic attacks or when I feel trapped in memories. it's really good for grounding and coping. I got recommended this app about four years ago when I first started contacting the crisis hotline and reaching out for help and I've used it so much sense. I really hope this app can help others too :>

Aw thank you so so much!! That sounds awesome, I struggle a lot with panic attacks and do CBT which in the past we focused on breathwork and that stuff helps me so much, it’s a legitimate life saver!
