sorry, this is more of a vent than a question I've been doing online school for awhile but i recently went back to take a test and it was so jarring and dissapointing. everyone calls me my deadname, i have to write it down and well, the girls bathroom. i can't even change my name in the system till i get it legally changed, which my dad would have to sign for. its just been bad lately, but hopefully one day ill get life the way i want it

Some schools might be willing to put a nickname beside your deadname or advocate for teachers not using your deadname if one of your parents comes to the school to talk with them. Otherwise finding support online is just about the only way I was able to get through it.
i know it sucks. in sucks so fucking bad. im so sorry that youre going through this, i know how terrible that is. it will get better. one day you will have your name changed and the chest you want and the hair you want and you will people who love and care and respect you and see you for you. i know it's hard, but hang in there, okay?
