I'm going to my grandparents tomorrow and they live 2 hours away. it isn't a long way to go but I'm scared and I always feel stupid and silly to be scared about going in a car for two hours with my daf who is driving but I'm so anxious that we will have an accident and ill get hurt, and because I'm on blood thinners I'll bleed out quickly. I'm scared ill forget something, I have nightmares about forgetting my medicine on long trips and being unable to get them again so I get all the after affects of a sudden absence and have a heart attack. it stresses me so much. I just needed to rant but idk it feels stupid.

Don't feel stupid, I used to get really anxious like that, too, ESPECIALLY on long car rides. I found the thing that worked best for me was distracting myself with a book or my phone so that I didn't have to look at the road. After about 30 minutes of driving, my anxiety would lessen significantly usually, like my brain and body would settle down and come out of flight or fight mode and I'd be fine.

It's okay to worry, are there any activities you could do in the car to distract yourself? Or maybe talk to your dad about these worries? Maybe listen to music or try to read something? Or text someone, playing message games back and forth could be distracting. Just some suggestions :)
