Has anyone tried Buspar for anxiety?

also anyone tried buspar? doctors are v reluctant to put me on benzos even though I am HEINOUSLY anxious and it's quite resistant to relaxation techniques and I have heard good things from some people!

Im on Buspar, and its helped me. It was a later addition to my depression anxiety controlling cocktail which includes an SSRI and hydroxizine, as needed. I got too regular with the hydroxyzine for comfort as long term regular use can lead to liver damage, so it was added. It honestly helps a lot, and offers an alternative that doesnt have the drowsy effects of the hydroxyzine (antihistamine used off label for anxiety)
