Experiencing a Burning Sensation in My Breast and Other Body Parts

(I’m a 20 yr old female with crohn’s, but I’m not sure if this is related to my crohn’s or not. My GI specialist doesn’t know what it is.) Okay so recently I’ve started experiencing this hot sensation in my left breast. It comes on suddenly and then goes away quickly. It’s not consistent, it just happens every once and awhile. It’s like a burning sensation. And it kept happening in the same spot on the left breast (sorta near the armpit.) I thought it might be related to my period because that’s when it came on, but it continued long after my period ended. The sensation started appearing in my left shoulder, and now it’s in my upper arms. I’ve also felt it on my abdomen and back. It’s so weird and I have no clue what’s causing it. I’ve never felt anything like this before. I have blood vessel problems in my cheeks and hands that causes redness and burning, but this feels way different. I don’t have any noticeable lumps in my breast, but something about it just doesn’t feel right. And it’s not a hot flash because it only happens in certain parts of my body at a time. Again, it’s a burning/hot sensation that comes on momentarily then fades really fast. Almost like the feeling you get when you get injected during a CT scan. It feels really tight and uncomfortable when it comes on. And it happens a couple times a day. The only thing I can find on the internet is that it could be breast cancer (which i don’t know if that would cause burning in other parts of the body, but I do have a family history.) or MS. I have chronic numbness in my hands and feet as well (neuropathy,) so I’ve always worried about MS. I think I’ll speak to my neurologist about the numbness and mention this too. I just feel lost. Any thoughts on what this might be?

So if you have a OBGYN I would make an appt with them. Explain all your symptoms to them. Just to be safe I would have an ultrasound done.( I am a medical assistant at a gynecologist) we see things out of the ordinary all the time.

I've sometimes had similar sensations that eventually turned out to be mostly anxiety. I would do a workup but keep in mind it could be nothing serious.. Good luck and keep us posted!
