My chest feels like it’s burning, is this usual for POTS? It is new to me and the fire sensation is very uncomfortable

I think that was the most alarming thing for me because I could feel the rush of heat going from kind of right above my abdomen up all the way into my head and staying there for a couple seconds and then gradually moving back down. I have noticed that when I get proper sleep which is very much not normal… But I don’t get the same type of heat sensation when I get at least six hours of sleep.

Yes I get this too. For so long the doctors told me it was indigestion but then when I was diagnosed with pots it all made sense. I take meds for the pots and that helps with the chest pain and burning. 👍

@Mcmeadow What meds to you take for the chest pain and burning. Does the chest pain feel dull and aches and light pressure?

@Niquee that's exactly how it feels for me. I take Corlanor but if you live in the U.S. it's not covered by insurance here and is $800 (ish or more) out of pocket a month so I get mine from Canada
