Building a Supportive Community

Hi, so glad to meet you virtually 😊. So glad to find someone that can relate to everyday battles and to have a community that I could be myself. What are goals you have set yourself? what motivates you? do you believe healing is possible? also, where are you from and what is your favorite activity to do?

Hey there! βœ‹ Some of my goals are to improve my mobility and return my muscles to their natural placements( by going back to PT), keep up on self-care, and to honor my pace. I like motivating myself with scheduling nice things into my calendar (dates, shopping for fun, seeing friends) and allowing for spontaneity when opportunity and money allows. Healing is absolutely possible. Choosing to do so can be hard though. especially while fighting so much pain and fatigue and stigma. I’m from Colorado, and I love playing with dogs, smoking weed, drawing and have recently started getting into bullet journaling and reading the FNAF series πŸ˜„

I've really jumped on board with the law of attraction to keep a more positive mindset and focus on what I want to do to succeed in the future. I force myself to remember that this isn't forever. It could be years, but not forever. I made a vision board that's by my bed with all of my goals and inspirational quotes. This makes it so I read them daily and have happy things to look at. This isn't to say I don't have days where I cry and am miserable and curse everything 😁 I've made my bedroom more accessible with a bed desk/tray so I can do my master's homework more easily and do research on our insanely debilitating situation. These are just a few things that helped change my mindset and feel better about staying in bed

I can’t easily do as much as I used to. But I enjoy walking my dog, going to the beach, and spending time with friends.

I’m having difficulty with motivation for goals as I often feel exhausted and exhaustion I can’t seem to articulate to others. So I’m just taking it day by day.
