seeing the gp tomorrow to talk about the steps to breast reduction surgery and start jumping through all the hoops etc. I'm so worried that they won't take me seriously or just tell me to lose weight and not listen to my concerns about my eating disorder... any tips about getting doctors to take you seriously/listen?

Write down all your concerns and come up with comebacks to shut their "lose weight" bullshirt down. It's kind of fun too tbh 😉 For example, if he says "you should just lose weight", you could say that this would definitely knock a few pounds off🙃 Also if they continue to disregard you and your needs, it might be time to find a different doctor. You deserve a compassionate doctor ❤️🫂
