I felt a lump in my breast a few months ago and wrote it off. It's now more than doubled in size. My doctor wanted to see me ASAP but the earliest I can have an appointment is this Wednesday. I'm dreading it. I know given my age (18) it's more likely to be something benign than anything else but it doesn't take the worry away! I'm wondering if anyone could help me prepare for my appointment and what might come next (ie. further tests like a mammogram)? I've been trying to keep a brave face for my parents - they worry about my health enough as it is - but this is scary for anyone, and I'll just say it: I'm terrified. Even just knowing what to expect in my appointment would help me feel a bit calmer. Thank you everyone 💗

Hello Please try not to worry you will Probably have an examination and if you have to go for a mammogram it doesn’t hurt but may be a little uncomfortable and it doesn’t take long to do or an ultrasound both are completly normal . Hope everything goes well for you x
