Often. I found a small lump a couple weeks ago as a result. Couldn't feel it unless my arm was a certain way. Now for tests to see what it it is.

Mm I only did it once two years ago, cus I had lumps for maybe 3 or 4 years that were bothering me nd would be slightly painful sumtimes if pressure was applied or jus random pains, I was scared it was cancer but it wasn’t thankfully I forgot what it was called tho I have something

I keep checking but I don’t have any😩 Sorry, bad humor 😅 but it’s super important to get checked at the least annually and get the proper vaccines to protect from breast cancer! Stay safe my lady friends🥺

Usually whenever they tell me to. Like if I go to OBGYN.

I am a 40-year-old male. I haven’t noticed anything yet. You know we got to keep an eye on it also. It’s not just a one gender street.

I avoid acknowledging that they're there as much as possible...

Self exam every month after my period. Doctor gives one every 2 years with pap. I have a script to get a mammogram but not looking forward to that.

I haven't ever, but they'll be lobbed off probably within the next 5 years so here's hoping

Every time I tried to make an appt with the VA they told me oh they moved the age back. I'm 35 and have never had a mammogram.

@Something_Strange 😅 same I hate having boobs. But we should still check because breast cancer can metastasize and spread to other parts of the body

I'm in Medicaid and had one mammogram. Knowing I was on Medicaid, the clinic ran some test that wasn't covered and charged me over $300! I'm on Medicaid because I'm broke, I don't have that kind of money. I haven't had a mammogram since.

A few self checks, but no doctor visits.

Not nearly often enough, but I made an educational infographic on how to do it if anyone doesn’t know where to get started :)

@AriEden that's how I feel too.. like I can't tell what normal and what's not

I learned self breast exam back in high school. Good thing i did. I had my first breast cancer at 36. I found that first one. It was very close to my lymph nodes. Mammograms back then werent very good (yes, dense breasts limited and they were limited on narrow span). Anyway, good thing i found it because it took mammogram about 5 tries to find it. My 2nd breast cancer in 2020, this time the mammogram found traces of the cancer even before it formed a tumor, literally a stage 0. They are amazingly better now.

Every 2 years. In fact this year I went and they want to redo it. I’m scared to death ☠️

      • Nickichina

        412d

@Noella Try not to be too scared, just yet. I had to have mine redone because my breast were too dense to see through. Sometimes there just being extra thorough. Don’t worry until they tell you to worry. Xoxoxo
