Labor request: I need advice on how to break the struggle cycle I find myself in when I wake up. I need to take my medicine in order to be able get out of bed. I need food and a drink to take it. I need to have a fatty/protein heavy first meal. I need to keep my grocery budget as low as possible as every other expenses in my life has skyrocketed along with the general inflation. What is a cheap, higher fat and protein, shelf stable food that I can eat so I can take my medicine?

Have you considered keeping a protein bar and bottle of water (and your meds) next to the bed? Then you don't have to get all the way up to take them. I have been doing this and it helps me to take them closer to when I wake up vs whenever I feel like getting out of bed.
