Looking for Mental Health Advice

Hey everyone. I hope all are doing well πŸ™‚. I'm on this app looking for some level of help I guess. I'm not currently on meds due to money, and I'm struggling a lot to find healthy coping mechanisms. anybody got advice?

I'm in a similar situation, I came to this app to connect with ppl who have lupus and rheumatoid arthritis to see what remedies they use to help with the symptoms and flare ups and so far I've gotten a lot of great advice and information! I'd say that turmeric has helped me tremendously with my inflammation, I drink a cup of turmeric chi tea every afternoon and take a 800mg capsule with breakfast. For my fatigue I've learned that b vitamins are amazing! I take a liquid that has an assortment of the b vitamins in it and it helps so much I only take ten ml and within twenty minutes I feel good but on rainy days when my RA flares up bad these don't work as good. I haven't found anything for pain yet. Tho alot of ppl have told me weed but I'm lazy AF on weed and then I've heard the red kratom helps with pain but I also don't know nothing about either one of those things

Hey!! I'm kind of in a similar boat right now. I cant afford my meds and I am in between insurance since we moved. So I totally get how hard it can be. I have found a few ways to cope while I wait to get back on my meds. The first app I downloaded was Finch. It's a self care app. Now there is a premium version but I dont have money for that so I just use the free version. But it helps me remember to take time for me and gives me a little friend to see everyday on this journey. I also downloaded DBT coaching. The free version is more or less just a daily journal but it helps me keep track of my moods and events as I have trouble remembering my days sometimes. I have found breathing exercises and meditation have helped me control my moods a bit better. I am also in some really great support groups online and in my community. If you have any questions or just want to talk I'm here

thank you for that πŸ’•. I will say that art used to be my best way to cope. But for some reason I just have zero inspiration to draw anything even though I know it will help. I also have Finch but I haven't been using it. Maybe this is my sign to! πŸ˜„ thank you! I'll also look into that DBT app! Feel free to message me too if you need someone to talk to πŸ’—
