Breaking Down Over Little Things

Does anyone else have days where they just want to break down over little things? Like if one little thing doesn’t go right you have a breakdown/meltdown?

absolutely. for me, it’s especially if they concern routine. a few months ago, i didn’t work out at the right time, and i was inconsolable for a couple hours. i would say autistic people definitely have our "bad days".

I definitely do, especially if something changes I struggle with any change. I have had those days where if one little thing goes wrong the whole day is ruined and I don't like to talk to people.

Yah and if i dont let myself break down or calm down by doing a special interest it only gets worse for me 😆 so i try to practice healthy stimming, letting my emotions out like crying or venting or journaling

Yeah, yesterday one of us had a meltdown about the consistency of eggs. Things just happen sometimes.

Yep. Normally if it’s a day/week where my routine has been disrupted, I can’t handle little things
