Productive procrastination. One of the best ways to get myself to clean my apartment is when I have something else that needs to be done. Sometimes it doesn’t work but sometimes it’s really good. Also parallel working. If I have someone else with me when I’m supposed to be studying or cleaning I’m much more likely to focus

Treat yourself like a feral cat. Trick yourself into helping yourself! -Can't take a shower? Do something you like that is messy like art/makeup since it's easier to wash off in the shower. -(Maybe not in COVID) but invite friends over so you are forced to clean your place. -Can't drink water? Carry a huge water bottle around. The more you drink the less heavy it gets making it less annoying to carry around. -Prioritize in unconventional ways. "I can only go out if I have clean clothes so I might as well do laundry" your tasks centering around what you enjoy helps with that! -Make the tasks you need to complete inconvenient to do things you enjoy. Can't make art on a desk that is dirty/ has a bunch of school work all over it. -Ease yourself into tasks. It won't hurt to move over to my desk, and open my school work and just look at it. It wouldn't hurt to just read the first part. Some stuff is better than nothing. Finding ways to trick yourself is hard, but when you find the right ones they work very well.

I’ve found it helps me pay attention and keep focus if I have some small thing to fidget with, like fidget rings, small stuffed animals, rubber animals, just something small and discreet
