Braces for Joint Instability Causing More Pain

The only thing I could think of is making or modifying a brace. I have something for my knee that's just a cushion that wraps around my leg and holds my kneecap up. It's not the strongest but it helps when sleeping

I've tried compression and KT tape. The problem is I have the fragile skin kind of EDS, so tape will remove skin and compression causes skin rash after a while

Have you tried compression braces?

i’m having the same issue! i recently dislocated my knee and it seems the brace just causes more pain and bruising. you can try using KT tape to help stabilize with less pain, but i’m not sure it will give you as much support as a brace! hopefully others have some solutions!
