Living with BPD: Navigating Relationships

I have a fiancé, and though he is very VERY patient with me, it does push his limits and often strains our relationship. He’s very good at contextualizing, but my emotions are so extreme so often that it’s mental gymnastics for him to figure out what’s actually happening or why I’m actually bugging out. It’s stressful for both of us, but I’m lucky to have a partner who will never leave because the illness is bad.
