Struggling with Social Anxiety and Forming Relationships

does anyone have the type of social anxiety that prevents them for being able to form relationships past the first meeting? Meeting someone more that once, and being able to have another good conversation with them, and then hanging out one on one. I can feel so comfortable meeting someone only once that it makes them think I want to do it again, but always think how on earth am I going to follow that? Every time? For years? I'm not interesting enough to keep that shit up.

yeah, its so annoying. i force myself to hang out with them though, then i find its acc not that bad and i eventually get over the anxiety but in so many cases its prevented me from having what couldve been such amazing friendships.

I push myself into it as well, but it never goes away. Instead I see the people who were once so interested, lose interest so quickly. I've been part of friend groups for years bc of partners and can't form friendships with anyone. I just become a background object once I move past the how are yous etc
