Just got diagnosed with BPD, how do I tell people?

i got diagnosed with BPD today and i am not sure how to take it. i suspected for awhile but kept assuming i was just super sensitive and stuff. made any excuse i could to not have it. but today i had a screening for it and blasted out it with flying colors. now i dont know how to tell people with all the negative stigma behind it. my dad already says he doesnt see it in me and multiple people blame my medications for the symptoms. its really making me paranoid about scaring people off.

You're not alone in feeling this way. I was diagnosed as bipolar two years ago and I still feel this way. In fact no one, not even my family knows this about me. Just tell people when you're ready to. There's no time limit!
