Looking for advice on coping with BPD

so, I've been diagnosed with bpd for a while now but never really took the time to try to learn how to cope with it and honestly I still don't fully know the symptoms of it. so does anyone have any advice or info on bpd?

It's all about the way you think, and making sure you live in healthy conditions. My BPD got waaaaay better once I wasn't living with my toxic family and removed a few abusive people from my life. The other half was just cognitive behavioral therapy. Now I hardly show symptoms at all.

Dbt is so helpful in managing emotions. Combined with a good medical provider to sort out life details and past traumas is so helpful.

Talk therapy is highly effective for bpd. It helps breakdown long-standing thought patterns and emotional responses. Took me years to finally grasp it all. But it’s been the best thing I ever did. DBT is the type of work recommended for Bpd.

Honestly, NAMI.org is a good place to start with any diagnosis that you dont know about. They break things down, so you can understand it. They can also help you get connected to groups and professional assistance.
