Another book that I recommend is to stand on my own dear Canada. If you want to read about a paralyzed to go who is trying to learn how to walk again in 1937 Saskatchewan it is a very good read. It is a great novel or 9 to 12 year olds but I still enjoy it and I am 21. It is about the polio epidemic of 1937 and it references a lot of cool historical events that really actually happened in real life as well as being based off of true story loosely but the characters names are not the real names so it's basically a little bit of true story with creative telling.

If you like sci-fi but still want it to be realistic, (like me lol), read "The Martian" by Andy Weir. Its a fantastic read and feels very futuristic without being all unrealistic, (also any of his other books are great too)

I have soooo many lol what kind do you like? I’m really into romance so my favorite book currently is Love and Other Words, it was so cute and a quick read! I’m reading the love hypothesis currently (I know I’m a little late to the game) and loved it! If you want something dealing with chronic illness I recommend Get a Life, Chloe Brown, it’s another one of my favorites! If you like historical fiction I always recommend Lilac Girls, it’s based on a true story and is just incredible. If you like science to any degree I also recommend Project Hail Mary, it’s by the author of The Martian! I have more if you want them feel free to message me :)
