I can't tell if it's just my body dysmorphia, or if I actually just look heavier for my weight to height ratio. I am 20, 5'5, and fluctuate between 115-118 lbs. I keep seeing girls on social media that seem so pretty and skinny, so it makes me feel increasingly self conscious. Anyone have tips on how to feel less self conscious about how you look? I need to get out of the habit of body checking as well.

Oh girl....I feel you. Although I wish I was you cause your one inch taller and 40 pounds lighter. Haha Jk...in all seriousness I struggle with this a lot. Comparison, jealousy, body checking, all that. If I could give a piece of advice it's that fluctuating your diet won't help, from ages 12-17 that's all I did and it did absolutely nothing. stay consistent and try to get all your vitamins in the meals you eat, get plenty of protein and take care of yourself. The healthier you are the better you will feel!!!

Well, I personally do my best to avoid reflective surfaces. My BDD makes it so everyday I wake up looking like a new person... avoiding my reflection helps. ( I used to seek out reflective surfaces subconsciously)
