How can I ease bloating?? I've been distended for over 3 weeks now with no let up. I take peppermint oil every night and magnesium. I've just finished a course of 8 sachets of laxido a day for faecal impaction. I take buscopan, I drink LOADS of fluids, mainly water and tea. my diet has not changed, I'm not known to be triggered by any food in particular. I just want my bloating to go down. I've spoke to a GP and I now have metoclopramide and colofac to ease symptoms (no improvement yet). tried giving myself massages and trying gas-relieving positions. I also walk and excersise frequently as im able. waiting to speak to gastro at the hospital again but referral and appointment might take weeks of months. Please help I will try anything.
