Bladder Troubles with Vascular and Hypermobile EDS

I have vascular and hypermobile EDS. Have any of you had bladder troubles stemming from it?

Yes. I have diverticula in my bladder neck which makes it nearly impossible to urinate without medication. My urologist described my bladder as that of a 60 year old; I am 38.

I have mild incontinence but I haven’t seen a doctor because I’m scared of catheters as well as embarrassed by it.
