I was diagnosed at 29 with bladder cancer. This wasn’t just a shock to me, but my new doctors as well. I’m not the usual patient they see for bladder cancer as a 29 yr old woman. Lol Unfortunately my diagnoses came on the heels of caring for my mom when she was diagnosed with lymphoma, and her unfortunate passing. This put a lot of anxiety and fear into my treatment. It has truly been a struggle to get where I am now. After the last few years, I was just told I’m now NED, no disease detected. I am now just on maintenance scans and bcg treatments. It has been a tough adventure I never would have wanted to embark on, but here I am.
