today I'm going to a birthday party for a person who genuinely ruined my life. and to be honest, still continues to this day. I'm not sure if I completely forgive them but I'm being the better person and moving on to support them. am I doing the right thing though? Do they even deserve me as a person for them? I'm not sure, but I can't bring myself to imagine myself without them, regardless of what they do to me. and is that a problem too? I don't know.

it’s ur choice to forgive them which is the first step do u really want to keep them in ur life or do u want to let go. “don’t let the same snake bite twice”

I hiiiiighly recommend talking about this kind of complicated situation with a therapist. They are really great at helping you peel back the layers of why you feel the way you do and how to make the best decisions for yourself
