Are you taking birth control to help with your menstrual pain? If so while paragard is highly effective at preventing pregnancy, it make dismenorea worse

I take it for menstrual pain and yes it helps with that. I also take it for the reason most people do because I’m not ready for kids lol

For the paragard was the insertion like?

The paragard insertion was a bit painful but not too bad. But it will give you heavier periods. I too have never had children. If you have a low tolerance for physical pain you will definitely feel pain but it goes pretty quickly.
