hi, I'm a bipolar person trying to get off lithium. it's harder than I thought. tough to function with my lifeline going up and down awry.

lithium works very well for people, some people anyway. Depending on the intensity of your bipolar, there may be other better meds out there for you. Feel free to get a second opinion from a different shrink. There are tons of new medications out there that work for some people as well. Best of luck!
