Struggling with Bipolar Disorder: Need Advice on Finding Support Groups

I was only recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder and I’m really struggling with it. Does anyone have any advice on meeting people in the area with the same struggles? Like support groups?

I am on a few groups on Facebook. And Reddit had some good groups that were not to judgey. I found a clinic in my area that only treats bipolar and schizophrenia. So group therapy there is great since we can all relate. But Facebook has been very helpful on the fly

Support groups can be helpful, even if they’re on social media. If you have a therapist or anyone on your care team, bring it up to them as well. They may know of groups that are hard to find elsewhere, and they can give better recommendations than I can lol it’s worth a shot :)
