Go to the emergency room for an emergency admit yourself to the mental health department you might be there for 48 hours before release but see the Dr by that day or next day morning. Or go to a outpatient care for mental health schedule your appointment but it maybe be up to 1 to 3 months before your appointment.

So here's the thing... there are signs and symptoms that can lead a person to believe they may have bipolar disorder. There is not a definitive medical test or exam that leads to the diagnosis. There has been progress with brain scanning, but that technology isn't readily available to most people. One of rhe common ways to determine if a person has bipolar is to try them out on a pychiatric medication regimen and see how that impacts their symptoms. There are also some medications that can trigger mood swings and mania, which can be another indicator for bipolar disorder. Ultimately, you and your med provider (please make sure you see a psychiatrist about this, not a regular MD) will need to work together and come to a concensus about where you are on the bipolar spectrum. This is determined by your history, your current issues and your patterns as you become aware of them. If you would like to chat further about this, please feel free to message me any time. I wish you the best of luck in your bipolar journey, it's a hell of a ride!😁
